seraphim

DEFINITIONS

Seraphim: (“The Burning Ones”) These are the highes-tranking of the nine choirs of angels, and are the angels closest to God. They have four faces and six wings. Their light they give off is so strong that humans could not exist in their presence. The seraphim fly endlessly around the celestial throne singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy.”
